Abbey Villa

MetroWest

The MetroWest Regional Training Center offers the full range of Abbey Villa S.C. programs including Premier teams, training groups, Minis, clinics, goalkeeper training and futsal training. MetroWest RTC is Abbey Villa S.C.’s original training center and where the Club began back in 2002 when it was founded in Hopkinton. MetroWest now serves all towns in and around the MetroWest area including Hopkinton, Southborough, Northborough, Grafton, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Holliston, Ashland, Milford, Upton and more!

In Season Programs

Abbey Villa S.C. Premier teams participate in NEP/NEC league play, tournaments and train two to three times per week during the spring and fall. Our Premier teams all train at least once per week during the winter months as well.

During this in season time of the year, AVSC MetroWest offers Minis (players age six and younger) and development training groups (U7 and U8) as well as goalkeeper training for both current and non-AVSC goalkeepers. We also have our cross-region, Advanced Girls Development Program running in season.

Off Season Clinics

AVSC offers a variety of summer clinics for all youth players, whether they currently play for Abbey Villa S.C. or not. Offerings include goalkeeper and striker clinics plus high school prep clinics.

Abbey Villa S.C. also has an annual overnight clinic at The Fay School in Southborough. In winter we also offer our annual February vacation clinic.

Field Locations

We train at several excellent facilities, both indoor and outdoor, across the MetroWest region. AVSC MetroWest locations include The Fay School in Southborough, NEBC in Northborough and our own training ground in Hopkinton.

Tryouts

AVSC has multiple avenues for players to tryout throughout the entire year. We have our annual June tryouts, in-season fall and spring tryouts and options in the winter as well!

Our tryouts are always a low-pressure environment where we want interested players to come in and see the unique training experience AVSC offers without the anxiety that can affect players in a typical tryout environment.
